When the pain begins, and if tolerable, can be treated at home. One can stop routine activities and apply ice to the back. Even doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours. Thereafter, you can switch to hot compressions. You can even elevate the level of legs while lying down on a pillow; it can give comfort along with pain relievers. A soothing warm bath or a massage can also bring relief; however, if the pain continues even after 72 hours, it is advisable to visit the doctor. In fact, some yoga asana is also very effective for back pain, but under proper supervision of a certified instructor.

So, among all women related problems, lower abdominal pain and back pain are the most common. If they are treated right on their onset, they can be cured right away. Like, if a woman is pregnant or is in the menstrual cycle, both lower abdominal and back pain are bound to occur.
